Smort is an iPhone flashcard app. Make a flashcard, try to answer from memory, and check how you did. Smort schedules when to review it again.
Why Smort exists
It’s easy to save a word or highlight a paragraph and never come back to it. Smort gives you a way to practice what you’ve collected. Write your own flashcards, import a deck, or ask AI to draft cards for you to check. When you review, say or type the answer before you turn the card over.
Know what to review today
Open Smort to see which flashcards are due and where you need more practice. The app spaces out your reviews and keeps track of your streak. A Smort subscription is required to use the app: write and edit cards, import decks, grade your answers, and listen with Apple voices. Cloud Sync is included too. These features don’t use your monthly AI allowance.
Made for iPhone
You’ll need an iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Smort uses your microphone when you choose to dictate or answer out loud. Online features need an internet connection. The Privacy Policy explains what stays on your phone and what gets sent to a service. Questions? Write to support@getsmort.app.
